Roblox Man Face Chicken Nugget

Getting the Roblox Man Face Chicken Nugget Shirt to Work Properly

The Man Face Chicken Nugget shirt in Roblox is a fairly straightforward custom decal that's been circulating since around 2020. It's a low-poly style graphic that prints onto the standard T-shirt template. Most people find it through third-party asset sites or by trading. The actual process of putting it on your character is where things tend to go sideways. Here's how it actually works in practice. You need the image file first — usually a .png or .jepg that's exactly 512 by 512 pixels. Roblox's shirt template expects that exact resolution, and if your image is even slightly off, the UDim values get thrown out and the graphic stretches weird across your character's torso. I've spent hours trying to figure out why a design looked wrong before realizing the canvas size was 500 by 500 instead of 512 by 512. That happens more often than you'd think with images pulled from random forums.

How to Apply the Roblox Man Face Chicken Nugget Shirt

Once you have the correctly sized image file, you upload it through the Roblox website under Create > Clothing. The upload takes about 10 to 15 seconds on a normal connection, and then you need to enter the UDim values manually if the default mapping looks off. The standard shirt template UV map for the front torso area sits roughly between 0.10 and 0.40 on the X axis and 0.25 to 0.55 on the Y axis. Those numbers aren't perfect for every design, so you'll want to tweak them in the Shirt template preview before finalizing. I ran into a specific issue last year where the chicken nugget graphic was rendering completely black on the avatar. The image file itself looked fine in every viewer I checked. The problem turned out to be the alpha channel. Roblox's clothing renderer handles transparent PNGs differently depending on whether the alpha values are premultiplied or straight. The workaround was to open the image in GIMP, go to Colors > Color Map, and set the output to RGBA with straight alpha. That fixed the black rendering issue immediately. It's one of those edge cases that doesn't show up in any official documentation and will cost you maybe thirty minutes if you don't know about it. The Man Face Chicken Nugget design specifically has a high-contrast color scheme with dark outlines around a yellow base. That means it shows compression artifacts really clearly if you save it at anything below 85 percent quality. When I first uploaded a heavily compressed version, the outlines bled into the torso seams and made the whole thing look smeared. Re-exporting at full quality fixed it in under a minute.

One thing people consistently miss is that the Roblox shirt system doesn't support anything beyond the standard UV map. If the design extends into areas the template doesn't cover, like the sleeve edges or the bottom hem, those pixels simply don't render. You can crop and reposition using the template editor, but you can't add new mapped regions. This is a hard limitation of the platform, not a bug you can work around with custom scripts or plugins. If you're looking for the asset itself, the most common source is the Roblox Toolbox under the Shirts category, where it's typically listed with the keyword "chicken nugget man face." Some users also distribute it through Discord servers or Reddit threads. The download process is the same as any other Roblox shirt asset — you just need a Premium membership to publish your own version, but viewing and equipping others' shirts is free. The main downside to be aware of is that Roblox periodically updates their clothing rendering pipeline, and older shirt assets sometimes break after a platform update. This happened in early 2024 when a patch changed how the UDim values are interpolated across different avatar proportions. Shirts that looked fine on R6 avatars started rendering slightly misaligned on R15 avatars afterward. The fix is usually just adjusting the UDim values slightly wider, but it's something to keep in mind if an asset you're using suddenly looks wrong after a Roblox update.
