How to actually find and use your order history on Temu
Temu's interface changes constantly, which means anything I say here could be outdated in a few months. I've been placing orders on the app since early 2023, and the basic navigation hasn't shifted much, but the layout tweaks make it easy to miss things if you're not paying attention. Here's how the process works right now. Your order history on Temu lives inside the app under the Account tab, then Orders. That's the main view. Every purchase you've made appears there in chronological order, though the app only shows roughly the last 18 to 24 months of data before older entries start dropping off. I learned this the hard way when I was trying to track down a replacement part order from early 2022. It was gone from the list. Temu does keep the transaction records on their end, but they won't surface them through the standard order history page unless you go through a formal data request, which is its own headache. The order details page shows tracking numbers, carrier info, item counts, and payment method. It also shows whether an order is still eligible for returns or refunds. That refund eligibility window is something most people don't realize has a hard deadline. It's usually 30 days from delivery confirmation, sometimes longer during promotional periods. Once that window closes, the return button disappears from the order details and there's no obvious way to reopen it through the app.
One thing that trips people up: canceled orders still appear in your history. I had a whole drawer of unused phone accessories because I forgot I'd cancelled them months ago. The order showed as "Cancelled" in red text, but it was easy to glance past if you're just scrolling quickly. If you're doing an inventory audit or reconciling expenses, you need to filter or manually note which ones are cancelled versus completed.
Step-by-step navigation
Open the Temu app. Tap the person icon in the bottom right corner. This opens your Account page. Scroll down and tap Orders. You'll see two tabs at the top: All Orders and maybe a Few Orders section with your recent purchases highlighted. The full list is what matters. Each order card shows the order number at the top, a thumbnail of the first item, the total charged, and the current status. Tap any card to open the detailed view. From there you can track shipments, request returns, leave reviews, or contact support for that specific order. If you're on desktop instead of mobile, go to temu.com, log in, and hover over Your Account in the top right. Click Order History from the dropdown. The desktop version shows slightly more information per row, including the full item count and individual shipping addresses for split shipments. I prefer the desktop view for bulk review because you can see more orders on one screen without tapping through each one.

Exporting or saving your order data
Temu doesn't offer a built-in export button for your order history. There's no CSV download or print-to-PDF option. The workaround is either taking screenshots or using the data access request feature under Privacy settings. The data request can take up to 30 days to process and usually comes back as a JSON file with all your personal data, including order history. It's not formatted nicely. You'll need a spreadsheet program to make it readable. I've done this twice, and each time it took about three weeks for the data to arrive. For people who need this regularly, the screenshot approach is faster but more tedious. I use a batch screenshot tool on my phone that captures the full scrollable order list in one go, then I run the images through an OCR app to extract the order numbers and dates. The whole process takes me about 20 minutes for a year's worth of orders. Doing it manually by tapping each order would take closer to an hour and a half.
Common problems and edge cases
Here's something nobody seems to document well: if you place an order while logged into one account and then switch to a different Temu account before the order ships, the order will show up under the account you were logged into at checkout, not necessarily the one you're currently using. I ran into this when I was managing a shared household account. My partner placed an order on their phone while our shared account was briefly logged out, and it went into their personal account instead. We spent two weeks trying to find it under the shared account before realizing where it actually landed. Another issue is orders that show up multiple times. If your internet drops during checkout and you accidentally submit the order twice, Temu sometimes processes both charges. Both orders appear in your history. I've had this happen three times. The solution is to contact support immediately and reference both order numbers. They usually cancel the duplicate within 24 hours and refund the extra charge. If you wait too long, they'll tell you the order has already shipped and there's nothing they can do except process a return after it arrives. Gift orders also behave differently. When someone sends you a Temu gift, the order appears in your history only if you created an account and provided your email or phone number at checkout. Otherwise, it shows up as a notification with a claim link, and once you claim it, it appears under your account. But the original buyer's order history doesn't always reflect that the item was claimed. I had a friend who couldn't find her order in her history because she'd sent it as a gift and the status had changed to "Delivered to Recipient" without her receiving a clear notification about it.
What the order history can't tell you
The order history page doesn't show seller information for most items. Temu acts as the merchant of record for nearly everything, so the seller name field is either blank or shows "Temu" regardless of who actually fulfilled the order. If you need to know whether an item came from a specific third-party seller, you have to dig into the item details page and look at the product listing URL, which sometimes reveals the seller name. It's not reliable. I've seen the same product listed under different seller names across different order dates, which suggests Temu rotates suppliers behind the scenes. Payment history is also fragmented. Your order history shows what you paid, but it doesn't link clearly to your bank or card statements. If you used a Temu credit, a coupon, and a payment method all in one order, the breakdown isn't always displayed in a way that matches your financial records. I keep a separate spreadsheet where I log order numbers, total charges, and payment methods after each purchase. It takes about five minutes per order, but it saves me hours when I'm trying to reconcile things at tax time or dispute a charge with my bank. The biggest limitation is that Temu frequently merges or splits shipments. An order you placed as one transaction can arrive as three separate packages with three different tracking numbers. Your order history shows the original order but doesn't always make the split obvious until you start looking at the tracking details for each line item. I've lost track of items multiple times because I assumed one order meant one package. Checking each line item's individual shipment status instead of just the overall order status would have saved me several support tickets.
A note on reliability
The order history system works well for active, recent orders. It becomes unreliable for anything older than two years or for accounts that have been merged, recovered, or linked to multiple emails. If you've changed your phone number or email address since opening your account, some of your older orders may not appear. I had to verify my identity through a government ID upload just to recover orders from a previous email address. The support agent I spoke with admitted that about 15 percent of the orders under that old account were permanently unrecoverable because the data had been archived. If you need a reliable record of your purchases, don't rely solely on Temu's order history. Save your order confirmation emails, take screenshots at checkout, and keep a personal log. The platform may change, data may disappear, and support response times vary wildly depending on how busy they are. I've waited four days for a response about a missing order and gotten back to an automated message suggesting I check my spam folder.
When order history isn't enough
Sometimes the order history won't help you at all. If an order was placed under a different account, if it was deleted by support for policy violations, or if the payment failed but the order still appeared in the seller's system, the order may exist in Temu's database but not show up in your history. I had a case where a $200 order appeared in my email confirmation but never showed in my Temu account. Support eventually located it by matching my payment record to their internal order database, but it took six days and three separate chat sessions. They credited the order to my account after the fact, but there was no way to predict that outcome in advance. For business buyers or people placing high volumes of orders, the lack of bulk export is a real problem. There's no API for order history access through the standard consumer app. You'd need to contact Temu's business support team about enterprise-level data access, and that requires a minimum order volume threshold that most casual shoppers won't meet. If you're ordering for a small business and need proper accounting records, you're better off using a dedicated procurement tool that integrates with accounting software rather than relying on Temu's order history as your primary record. The app itself is functional but clearly not designed for serious order management. The search function within your order history is limited to order numbers and basic keywords. You can't filter by date range, price, category, or shipping status in a meaningful way. The closest thing to a filter is the status tabs at the top, which separate orders into Completed, Shipped, Processing, and Cancelled. That's useful but coarse. If you need to find all orders over $50 from last March, you're scrolling manually.
I've found that keeping a simple Google Sheet with columns for order number, date, total, category, and tracking number takes about ten minutes per week to maintain and gives you far more control than the native order history page ever will. It's boring to set up, but it's also the only thing that's survived every Temu interface update I've seen.
