black men don't cheat: White Men Can't Hump (As Good As Black Men) Todd Wooten, 2006-10 White Men Can't Hump is a book of hope. The hope is that one day Black Men in America will no longer be viewed as unintelligent, unattractive, undesirable, uncivilized, and just plain old worthless. White Men Can't Hump will address why Black Men in America are perceived in such a negative way, and will also explore the origins of this negativity. White Men Can't Hump will also explore how this negativity has been spread for the last four centuries (a la stereotypes), and why this negativity has been spread (a la Fear of the Black Penis). Several of these so-called negative Stereotypes will be closely examined and shown in a new light. White Men Can't Hump will ask why two well known Stereotypes that have been historically assigned to Black Men, are only considered negative when applied to Black Men. Most men desire a large Penis and an elevated sexual prowess, but all across America (in offices, bars and locker rooms) the Black Penis and Black Prowess are routinely the Punch Line to jokes. White Men Can't Hump will ask why, and will also ask a question that will create a debate for the ages: Who's better in bed, Black Men or White Men? White Men Can't Hump will take you the reader on an educational and enlightening journey through America's past and present with the hope of changing America's future. So sit back and enjoy or cuss, agree or disagree, and most importantly think with an open mind. Because whether you like it or not, White Men Can't Hump tells the story of who all of us are, where we've come from, and where we're going. White Men Can't Hump is divided into two VOLUMES. VOLUME I focuses on how Sex has historically affected Race relations in America, and VOLUME II focuses on how Race has affected Sex relations in America. Don't be confused by the similar titles because both VOLUMES pack a different Sexual, Racial, Political, and Social punch. black men don't cheat: Black Men Endangered Species William Jenkins, 2018-08-26 Over the years hundreds of thousands of people have attempted to portray the black person's struggle and suffering that has occurred with the development of our world. There is, however, no way to accurately depicted the feelings and emotions of these people because the majority have never experienced it or let alone even imagined the lives that these people were forced to live. Slavery was one of the most horrific and in human acts ever instilled on a race of people ever in our world's history. People were stolen from their homelands, broken apart from their families, and were thrust into a lifestyle that inhibited their every move and instilled harsh punishments on them. It is almost impossible for many of us to comprehend the mindsets that these slave owners possessed, but history paints a truly horrific and emotional picture for us all to see. The history of health for black Americans has been one of deep inequity. At the start of the 1900s to 2018 |

It's their skin, I can't stand the color, it makes me sick, I can't believe you're with one of them Finally after what seemed to be an eternity Lisa spoke, placing words in the silence. black men don't cheat: Don't Bring Home a White Boy Karyn Langhorne Folan, 2010-02-02 Folan encourages readers to look beyond common generalizations and stereotypes about race and gender in interracial relationships. In Don’t Bring Home a White Boy, writer Karyn Langhorne Folan debunks the myths and common preconceptions about interracial relationships: Is a black woman who dates white men a traitor to her race? And is America’s history of black oppression a factor? Drawing on real-life testimonials, she boldly tackles this difficult subject with warmth, humor, and understanding, as she explores stereotypes of black female sexuality and white male perspectives on black female beauty. Folan goes beyond statistics and offers firsthand insights on her own interracial relationship and attempts to tap into a woman’s desire to have all that they deserve instead of restricting themselves, simply because they want a “good black man.” Frank, authoritative, and universally relevant, her message to women is to look beyond skin color, accept themselves for who they are, and seek a man who truly loves them, regardless of race. |

As you read through this book, different characters will be introduced to you in which everyone are unique individuals but at the same time are influenced largely from other entities outside of themselves. Family on the other hand serves as a foundation for some. But think about your best friend or your boyfriend / girlfriend. The choices we make and the way we deal with things has a lot to do with our individual experiences as well as what we have learned from the people around us. If one is unsuccessful with a stage, even if one moves on to the next stage, they will still have to at some point address and successfully complete that stage. When they left, I jumped in my car and sped away. |

By leading the reader through his chaotic childhood and immersing us in a mental health treatment centre, Lesedi forces us to confront conversations that are often hard to have. black men don't cheat: Porch Talk with Ernest Gaines Marcia Gaudet, Carl Wooton, 1999-03-01 Ernest J. Gaines, the author of many acclaimed works of fiction, including The Autobiography of Miss Jane Pittman and A Gathering of Old Men, was born in 1933 in the small south Louisiana town of Oscar. In his childhood the center of his world was the old slave quarters on the River Lake Plantation, where five generations of his family lived. All of Gaines’s books have been set in this general area of Louisiana, and though none of his work is strictly autobiographical, his writing bears the distinctive stamp of the rural folk culture amid which he was raised. Marcia Gaudet and Carl Wooton’s Porch Talk with Ernest Gaines is a collection of interviews conducted on the porch of Gaines’s home in Lafayette, Louisiana, where he is writer-in-residence at the University of Southwestern Louisiana. Gaines talks about a variety of topics, including the influence of other writers—among them Faulkner, Hemingway, and Mark Twain—on his style and the importance of oral tradition and folk culture to his writing. He discusses the major themes of his work, such as survival with dignity and the search for manhood, and he describes the relationships among the black, Creole, and Cajun communities of south Louisiana and how they have been portrayed in his fiction. Gaines also comments on the craft of writing, his role as a teacher, the film versions of some of his books, his relationships with his agent and editors, and his work in progress. This is the first book-length work on Gaines to be published. It will be of importance to scholars and students of American literature, particularly southern and Afro-American literature, because it gives the reader valuable insights into Gaines’s life and writing. The format and conversational tone of the book will also appeal to the audience drawn to Gaines’s fiction. |

black men don't cheat: What Is Compersion? Marie Thouin, 2024-06-10 What is compersion? Is it the “opposite” of jealousy, as it is usually believed? Is it an emotion or a behavior? What causes it to arise and bloom? Can we “learn” compersion or invite more of it into our lives? Based on her seminal research with consensually non-monogamous (CNM) individuals, Dr. Marie Thouin unravels these questions and more in the first-ever book to offer a comprehensive model of compersion and a practical road map to cultivating it. Each chapter features compelling stories from real CNM people, making this a captivating and highly applicable read. In addition, Thouin addresses the broader social context, explaining how understanding compersion is a groundbreaking step toward a world that supports relational diversity and freedom. By disrupting the idea that jealousy is the only valid response to intimacy beyond monogamy, the existence and practice of compersion builds the foundation for a completely new paradigm of loving relationships. This book and its conclusions have profound implications for many fields of study and practice including psychology, sexuality studies, philosophy and ethics, and law. Indispensable for CNM individuals, therapists, counselors, and scholars, this book is also invaluable for anyone curious to learn about positive empathy, intentional relationships, and radical love. |
black men don't cheat: Would Jesus Date A Woman Like Me? Brian Bolden, 2015-02-11 Throughout the centuries, frustration, disappointment, and despair on both sides has created a great divide between black women and black men. In the world of relationships, it has become increasingly difficult for black women to make an emotional, spiritual, and psychological connection with black men. For many women, they don't even know how to begin to put on a different hat and often find themselves saying, Why can't I find a good black man? The truth of the matter is, many black women are sinking and drowning, according to many black men. On the other side of the spectrum there are black men who also have a considerable amount of scar tissue to deal with, not the least of which has been black women who are deceitful, disrespectful, high maintenance, materialistic gold diggers with get paid mentalities. The end result is that many black men have become frustrated with black women and have also chosen to cross color lines in unbelievably large numbers. For those black men, having a strong Nubian queen by their side has become nothing more than a pipe dream they used to have. For them, dating outside their race is no longer taboo and no longer creates the innate feeling of betraying black women. Sadly, a lot of black men all over the country have lost love and respect for many black women. A lot of black men feel many black women have no idea how to love them, care for them, or nurture their men. They no longer believe that black women are good homemakers nor can they keep a peaceful home. This is an epidemic that has spread all over America. It is my sincere belief that the thoughts and ideas outlined in my book will help answer numerous questions with which black women continue to struggle regarding their relationships with men--particularly black American men, such as: Why will he bed me but not wed me? Why have many black women lost the love and respect of black men? Why are black men continuing to cross the fence in alarming numbers? Why are black men becoming more hesitant to approach black women? Are black men really intimidated by successful black women? Why are so many black men disappointed, discouraged, and frustrated with many black women? Why do many black men see black women as too difficult and too complicated to deal with? Why are some black men making a vow to never date or marry another black woman ever again? Why are many black women hitting home runs in their careers but striking out in their relationships and marriages? These are some of the questions that are answered in this book. This is why it was so important for me to write this book. I want to inform black women in America what they need to do to help restore the faith of good-quality black men. I want black women to understand that I am writing this book as a wake-up call. If I do my job well, perhaps these words will sufficiently energize the mind, heart, and soul of the amazing creation God called woman to stimulate positive behavioral change in her--or at least provoke a little thought. Now, I know I'm treading on thin ice here, but trust me when I say this book is not about bashing black women in America. It's a book about reality and truth. More often than not, most of us do not like to hear the truth because it forces us to take a good look at ourselves, blemishes and all. The old adage, The truth hurts, could certainly apply here. However, another old adage is also applicable: The truth shall set you free. By writing this book, I truly hope to make it easier for black men and woman to come together as one. I want black women to understand that just because many black men have lost faith doesn't mean that we have given up on you. The reality is that sometimes we need to be challenged, and this book will definitely challenge many black women in America to take an introspective look at themselves. black men don't cheat: Why Can't We Just Get Along Anthony Hughes, 2021-08-17 This book combines the history of American descendants of slaves with contemporary events to explain the animus existing between the two Americas - one white, one black. WHY CAN'T WE ALL JUST GET ALONG answers Rodney's King's question by delving into the weeds of the true black experience in America - slavery, post-civil war black codes, Jim Crow segregation, Lynching, medical experimentation on men, women, and children, and race riots flaring up in every major city of the country. This unique odyssey illustrates the struggles, tears, and generations of the heartbreak of a race of people whom America would long to forget. Ignoring the fact that African-Americans built large segments of the United States, making it the wealthiest nation in the entire world, the world still views them under the lens of hate, disdain, and mistrust. Though they have proven their worth as a community, the dominant society still places them in a position at the bottom rung of society. Though unpublished when originally written in 2005, the unabridged history lessons included in this book are still applicable today. |
black men don't cheat: FINDING YOUR PURPOSE SARAH MARCELA, 2014-07-18 I am BAD, Blessed And Delivered. That is what I am all about. You don't need a doctorate or a Masters Degree or any kind of formal education to be BAD. All you really need to do for that is to accept the Good Lord into your life and think on the things He says. The Lord helped me to learn how to make it in this world; not only to stay on the right side of the law but to stay on the right side of the Lord. Because of this my husband and I are able to live good, comfortable lives and help other people as well. |
