In December 1979, Thomas returns to suburban Copenhagen after a year in London, where he has been playing organ in a New Wave band. Claes Johansen (b. 1957) is one of the most prolific Danish writers of his generation. He has also played in record-releasing New Wave/Mod Revival bands the Squad and Route 66. Claes Johansen moved from Denmark to England in 1992 and today lives in Ireland along with his wife, with whom he has three daughters.
