Doors Level 6 Walkthrough

How to survive the Rush hallway

Level 6 in Doors on Roblox is the Rush encounter. It is one of the most stressful rooms in the game and also one of the simplest mechanically. You enter a long corridor with multiple doors on both sides. Something runs at you from one end. You have to find a room quickly before it reaches you. That is basically the entire puzzle. The trick that most people miss is that the entity tracks you by sound. If you are running, sprinting, or walking quickly when it gets close, it hears you and charges directly at your position. If you stop moving, it often passes right by you. I learned this the hard way during my first few runs because I kept panic-sprinting and got caught every time. Stand completely still once you pick a room and wait for it to pass.

Step by step

Walk into the hallway and listen carefully. The Rush entity makes a distinct low hum or wind sound before it appears. The audio cues tell you which direction it is coming from. Pay attention to whether you hear it more on the left or right channel of your headphones. This gives you the direction early enough to make a decision. Choose a door on either side that is closest to you. You do not need to chase the farthest open door. The entity moves fast but it also takes a moment to reach you. A door three or four spaces away is perfectly fine. The important thing is not to run toward the source of the noise. Open the door and enter the room. Close it behind you if you can. Then stop moving immediately. Do not continue walking around the room looking for the exit. Do not interact with anything else in the room yet. Wait thirty to forty seconds usually. The entity runs through the hallway and then disappears. Once the sound fades completely, you can move normally and look for the next door to proceed.

Common problems and edge cases

One issue I ran into repeatedly is accidentally bumping into furniture or walls inside the safe room while waiting. Even slow walking makes noise. The Rush entity can sometimes loop back or do a second pass if it detects movement. I fixed this by crouching and holding still in the corner farthest from the hallway door. Crouching reduces your footstep volume significantly. Another problem happens when both sides of the hallway are blocked. This is rare but it does occur depending on the procedural generation. In that case, you have to wait near the entrance door and let it pass through without hiding. There is no solution other than stopping. Sprinting toward it will kill you.

Advanced notes

The speed of the entity is randomized between runs. Some versions come slow enough that you can casually walk into a room. Others sprint so fast that even close doors are not safe. There is no reliable pattern to predict this. Your best strategy is reacting to the audio cue, not the visual distance. You do not need to rush through the rest of the level after escaping Rush. The game does not penalize you for taking your time afterward. Just proceed through the next door normally. The level ends once you leave the hallway entirely. This Doors Level 6 Walkthrough covers the core mechanic and the edge cases most guides skip. The room itself has no puzzle elements beyond timing and noise management. If you find yourself failing repeatedly, the issue is almost always movement after the entity arrives. Stop moving and you will pass.
